Sener's new project in Germany will be built with Goizea supports designed according to the German VGB standard.
The project consists of a turnkey contract for Uniper's gas cogeneration plant at its existing power plant in Scholven/Gelsenkirchen (Germany).
SENER will be responsible, together with its partner, MMEC Mannesmann GmbH, for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and start-up of main equipments as well as the necessary associated components and services, such as electrical equipment, instrumentation, civil works, auxiliary equipment, etc.
The plant will be part of Uniper's strategy to replace coal with cleaner energy sources.
Goizea's supply consists of materials under German VGB standard, mainly supplied by our represented company, Lisega, and manufactured in its German and Indian facilities. A great challenge in pandemic times due to the difficulties for raw materials supplies, logistics, etc. and the demanding deadlines required by the project.
