NEW CONTRACT IN SOUTH AFRICA

Goizea was awarded with the contract for the supply of pipe supports for the solar field of Xina Solar One. The project consistS of parabolic trough solar plant of 100 megawatts (MW), which incorporates a thermal energy storage system using molten salt, located in the north of Northern Cape (South Africa). Xina Solar One is part of the largest solar platform in Africa, together with KaXu Solar One, another thermal plant that the company is currently building in the country, very close to Xina, and for which Goizea has also supplied all the supports. Both parabolic trough plants, of 100 MW each, comprise the largest solar energy complex of the African country. The plant will produce clean energy and will supply energy to more than 95,000 households per year. With this contract, Goizea strengthens its position in South Africa, after deliveries for Kaxu Solar One and BookPort.
